Vinegar: is it Safe For You and the Environment?

Everybody has jumped onto the environmental bandwagon, given the impact of our planet's challenges and problems with global warming. This is very positive indeed and we need to get more of the word out with the hope that people will want to contribute to saving our only home in this universe in any way they can.

Starting from home is a great and positive way to start helping the environment. From using low-energy light bulbs, proper weather sealants, enivronmentally friendly cleaners, better and effective means of reducing energy costs, there are many ways we can do this.

Reducing our Great Lake acidity

We really need to reduce the acidity in our lakes and so far, Vinegar is not an environmentally friendly solution to cleaning our homes.  Sadly, it's what many of us also like using to eat with our fries.

Time to start opening our minds, our attitudes and change what we use.  What makes more sense, trying to defend something that could create acidity problems for the lakes, or something that would be friendly for them?

I welcome your comments and suggestions, with well researched reasons for those suggestions.

Global Warming; are our habits helping the planet? Do you care enough to help it?

It's amazing how the world suddenly got onto the bandwagon on protecting the planet a little after the movie "The Inconvenient Truth" came out.

Toxic World - As the Planet Earth Gets More Sick, So Does It's Living Inhabitants

Let's face it. We have been living in a polluted world, and it's not getting any better. If you go to your local theme park, for example, you'll find that most of the food boxes are stuffed into a trash can more than the recycling bin that is right beside it.

Unless people's habits and attitudes toward the planet change, unless people do really care, the global warming problem is just going to get worse and worse.

Is Vinegar truly an environmentally friendly cleaning solution?

There are so many methods that we can use to clean our homes and other things. Vinegar is the most popular cleaning solution out there. Many people use it to clean their windows, their cars, their laundry.

But is it truly a real cleaning solution?
